What’s noteworthy here is how the SDK offers something Plasma v1 does not: complex dApps that are not payments or exchanges. Plasma MVP, MoreVP, Cash, and Debit all address the problem of payments/DEXs because exits with UTXOs require only simple fraud proofs. Any application more complex than that cannot be supported by Plasma. An equivalent to Plasma with full state fraud proofs for complex, non-payments dApps would be the SDK with shared security. The latter will likely be shipped next year.
